Build your worth, inside and out.

Coaching for ambitious women who want the raise, role, or business without burning out. From the woman who literally wrote the book on getting paid.

“Working with Claire is, simply put, electrifying.” — Heather B.

Does this sound like you?

You’re doing everything right and still not getting recognized.

You’ve expanded your role, taken on more, made yourself indispensable, and somehow that’s not enough to get the raise or promotion. You want to be seen accurately, paid fairly, and given room to lead at the level you’re already operating.

You’ve outgrown where you are, but you don’t know what’s next.

The job is fine and the paycheck is okay, but there’s a persistent sense of misalignment, like you’re wearing something that doesn’t quite fit. You know “just quit and figure it out” is bad advice but staying where you are feels wrong.

You have a rich, varied background and can’t make it cohere.

Multiple industries, skills, certifications, identities. You light up talking about all of it but freeze when someone asks “so what do you do?” You know what you’re capable of. What you don’t know is how to package it so the world will pay you for it.

The job search isn’t working.

Applications into a void. An interview that went well and then went quiet. A recruiter’s message you keep meaning to answer, because you’re not sure you could explain your own story if she called. You’re spinning your wheels and getting nowhere.

You look fine from the outside. Inside, you’re running on empty.

Strong track record, a job that looks good on paper, and the ambition is still there even though the energy isn’t. You second-guess yourself more than you used to. You’ve absorbed so much workplace stress for so long that you’ve lost touch with what you want.

You know what you want. You just can’t make yourself go after it.

The promotion, the pivot, the ask. The destination is clear but something keeps getting in the way, and you call it fear, or perfectionism, or lack of time. You need a boost of confidence and real tools to get out of your own way.

Here’s what this is costing you.

Let’s start with the money, because every month you stay undervalued, underpriced, or underemployed is real dollars leaving your life. And it only compounds over a lifetime.

But what this is really costing you is time. The years in the wrong role, the wrong environment, the wrong version of your career. The mental energy spent managing self-doubt instead of doing your best work. The opportunities you didn’t go after because you weren’t sure you were ready.

And underneath all of it: the slow erosion of trust in yourself. The longer you stay stuck, the more the stuckness starts to feel like evidence. That you’re not cut out for more. That you don’t know what you want. That maybe this is just what it is.

If you’re reading this, that means you’re ready for change. I make that happen faster (and with less suffering!).

Why my coaching works.

Most career advice treats this as a strategy problem. Update your LinkedIn. Negotiate harder. Network more. That advice is incomplete.

What I’ve seen, after thousands of hours of coaching, is that the thing standing between you and what you want usually isn’t a strategy gap. It’s a safety gap.

When you’ve spent years absorbing other people’s chaos, shrinking to fit environments that weren’t built for you, achieving your way through anxiety, your nervous system starts to read moving forward as a threat. It turns out you can know exactly what to do and still not be able to do it. That’s biology, and it responds to different tools than a to-do list.

I know because I lived it. I already had a Master’s Certificate in Financial Psychology and Behavioral Finance when everything came apart at once: a divorce, a lawsuit from men’s rights activists, a pandemic that ended my business model, a son born with a serious heart condition. Seven figures to six figures of debt and food stamps. I knew everything there was to know about money and worth, and I had to learn all of it again in my own body.

That’s why I’m now completing a certificate in Polyvagal Theory under Dr. Stephen Porges. Almost nobody in this field has the combination: the money story, the nervous system, and a decade of teaching thousands of women to negotiate millions in raises.

In practice:

I find the edge you’re discounting.

You’re too close to your own work to price it correctly. One client could move a room of executives who outranked her and assumed it didn’t count because it came easily. Another spent a decade in academic research without realizing she was doing business strategy. A third had a local business idea; we took it online and her income went up several times over. I’m reading you and your market at the same time, and most people leave our first session with language for themselves they didn’t have that morning.

We build your capacity first.

If you’re running on empty, you’ll write a tired resume and interview like someone apologizing. So we start by cutting the drain: boundaries with the boss who runs on panic, minimizing the amount of time and energy you spend spiraling. The work goes better when you’re not depleted. We use somatic practices, nervous system regulation, and Internal Family Systems-informed frameworks alongside real strategy, because you can’t think your way out of patterns that live in your body.

I treat your current job as funding, not a trap.

I’m not going to tell you to quit. Your paycheck is the venture capital financing your next move, which means the goal is to take everything useful from where you are while you build what’s next: skills, relationships, evidence, runway. You’re funded, and that changes what you can afford to say no to.

We run your career like a business.

I call it the LLC of Me. Your company is your customer and your value is a product worth investing in. Once you operate that way, auditing what your market rewards, building evidence of your impact, keeping real options open, asking stops feeling like a favor and starts feeling like a transaction whose terms you understand.

I’m in the work with you.

Depending on what you need, I rewrite your LinkedIn, rebuild your resume, draft your website copy, write your outreach, or build your business case from scratch. We think together in the sessions, and between them I build the thing, so you never leave a call with a to-do list and no bandwidth to execute it.

What clients say.

With Claire’s coaching, I negotiated confidently, secured an additional $20K in base and $5K in equity, and landed the role on terms I’m very happy with. I closed the process knowing I left nothing on the table.

— Jenna E.

In one 30 minute session, she identified all the ways I could reach my goal. The amount of care, focus and detail that went into it was extraordinary, far surpassing any other coach I’ve worked with. I felt like she wanted me to be successful as if she was fighting for herself.

— Shannon C.

Claire gave me the most honest, precise, practical coaching. In just one hour, I had so much clarity about how to move forward with my job search. She gave me ways to support myself from a somatic level, lovingly called me out when I was using excuses, and helped me realize I was much farther along than I was giving myself credit for.

— Kristin B.

I felt like I was talking to a therapist, my best friend, and the baddest boss lady I know. The session was the most cathartic ‘a-ha moment’ I’ve ever had, and even better, we came up with concrete steps to maintain that feeling.

— Emma C.

Over the last decade I’ve used the advice Claire’s given me to navigate difficult situations and successfully ask for raises. If you’re on the fence or looking for a sign as to whether you should work with Claire, this is it.

The Transformation Package

Custom pricing · starts at $4,500

Most coaching leaves you with a to-do list. This leaves you with the actual documents.

Six sessions minimum, 60 to 90 minutes, biweekly. What we cover is built around your goal: direction, positioning, negotiation, or your own business. Between sessions I write your resume, your LinkedIn, your website, your negotiation script, your marketing plan, whatever the next step requires. You leave with a full document suite built for your situation and yours to keep.

This is for the woman who’s ready to work on the strategy and the stuff underneath it. A promotion, a raise, or a better-paid role clears the investment in coaching, often in the first year.

My guarantee: I can’t control what your company decides. What I can guarantee is that by the end of our time together you’ll have your case built, your number researched, your scripts ready, and your nervous system regulated enough to use them when it counts.

I take on 20 private clients a year, a few at a time, so the work stays deep (and so I have time to write your stuff 😉).

Need focused help on one thing?

Questions, answered.

How does payment work?

Payment plans are available on every package. We’ll set the plan on the fit call.

This feels therapy-adjacent.

It is! While therapy tends to look back to understand, we look forward to act. I use nervous-system and somatic tools the way a therapist might, always in service of a concrete outcome: the raise, the promotion, the offer, the business. You leave every session with something to do, not only something to feel.

I’m slammed already. Is the time commitment realistic?

One session every two weeks. And because I’m doing the drafting and building between sessions, this takes work off your plate more than it adds.

What happens on the call?

It’s free, it’s 20 minutes, and I treat it like a real session. You’ll walk away with something useful regardless of what you decide. If we both feel the fit, I’ll send you a personalized road map of what our work together would cover.

Hi, I’m Coach Claire 👋

Claire Wasserman

For the last decade, I’ve helped women expand their worth, inside and out. I founded Ladies Get Paid, a newsletter with 21,000 subscribers learning to negotiate, advance, and stop waiting to be noticed, and wrote the book by the same name, published by Simon & Schuster. I’ve taught career strategy and negotiation at NASA, Harvard Business School, Meta, and the UN, and appeared as a guest expert on Good Morning America and in the New York Times. I hold a Master’s Certificate in Financial Psychology and Behavioral Finance and am completing a certificate in Polyvagal Theory, the study of nervous system regulation.

Credentials cover the strategy. Life taught me the other half. I’ve been on food stamps and I’ve made a million dollars, and in between I had to rebuild my relationship with money and my own worth from the studs. I know what it feels like to do everything right and still not get what you’re worth, and I know what it takes to change that. It starts with believing you’re worth more. (You are.)

I live in LA with my wife Ashley and our twins, Raphael and Antonia.

See if coaching is right for you.

The fit call is free, and I treat it like a real session. If we’re the right fit, we’ll build something that moves the needle on your career and on what you believe you’re worth.

You’ve been figuring this out alone for long enough.
